Garbage / Recyclable Collection

Garbage and recyclables must be placed at the curb by 8:00 a.m. each Thursday (except for Holiday changes).

Requirements

• Garbage should be in clear plastic bags

• Limit 7 bags per household

• Recyclables (metal cans, glass, all plastics, newspaper and magazines) can be mixed in reusable containers that are left at the curb (such as trash containers, laundry baskets, etc.)

• Thick corrugated cardboard must be torn down to manageable sizes

Holiday Garbage Pick-up Dates - 2024

• The week of New Years Day will be Friday, January 5th 

• The week of Memorial Day will be Friday, May 31st

• The week of July 4th will be Friday, July 5th

• The week of Labor Day will be Friday, September 6th

• The week of Thanksgiving will be Friday, November 29th

• The week of Christmas will be Friday, December 27th

Water / Sewer Rates

Water and sewer rates are billed quarterly. Effective July 1, 2024, billing will be:

Water

• $ 4.75 per thousand gallons used for Inside users

• $ 24.75 minimum per quarter

• $ 9.50 per thousand gallons used for District

• $ 49.50 minimum per quarter for District

• $ 14.25 per thousand gallons used for outside village users

• $ 74.25 minimum per quarter for outside village users

Sewer

• $ 14.75 per month per unit charge

• $ 3.75 per thousand gallons of water used

• $ 7.50 per thousand gallons of water used for District

Lawn Debris / Leaf Collection

Pick up will occur Mondays - Thursdays from 7am - 8:30am. Please use paper bags if possible or rake to the curb. Do not rake leaves into the street as they clog storm drains. No plastic bags can be accepted, and items in plastic bags will be left at the curb.
